We ordered scoring clickers for karate in March 2023. The clickers were then still in prototype phase. Our international karate event, European Masters Games, was taking place end of June, so we had plenty of time to receive them in full operational mode.
WeissBrand would not distribute a product before it was tested to 100% reliability. As we were the pioneers (first in Finland) to use them, we had our doubts both of their functionality and reliability. But all that was in vain, we received the clickers for three tatamis just in time.
There were absolutely no problems in getting them installed. The clickers and the needed equipment had a very high quality and sturdy finish. There was a clear and extensive manual included. The installation was very straightforward and no unexpected incidents occurred. We had the latest verion of Sportdata SET-program for WKF karate installed.
The clickers as well as SET worked as they were supposed to. WeissBrand kindly also offered a live support channel during our event. It was not needed in any technical matters, but it is always nice to chat with professionals.
We are now training officals and referees in Finland to use the score clickers in our future events.

Scoring Screen (coming beginning 2024)
The device allows referees to assign their scoring points by screen. It is connected by wire and needs no extra power. The system has a stable connection and is compatible with the Kumite Scoring Clicker

The Wireless Score Clicker system is already in use at swiss karate competitions for Kata and also at kickboxing events inside of Europe.
